ANNETTE HAYES Annette Michelle Hayes (Witko) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the age of 51. Annette was a caring and compassionate wife, mother, sister, and daughter. Annette is survived by her husband Darryl, two sons, Kyle and Ryan, her brother Ray and special friend Rose and niece Kelly, her nieces Kim and Carleigh, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Chickie and Alvin. Annette was predeceased by her mother and father, Helen and Kasmir, and her brother Leonard. Annette's green thumb, taste for travel and adventure, love of music, and her eye for home decor brought joy and happiness to her and those around her. Her gifts and talents will be fondly remembered and ever treasured. Annette grew up in Garson, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg to pursue her career. She married her high school sweetheart on June 5, 1982 and they enjoyed 36 years together. The Hayes family would like to thank all of our family and friends for the support they have given, the generosity and kindness granted was a sincere reflection of the love shared for Annette and no words can properly express our gratitude. A Memorial service is to be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg with Pastor Peter Lurvey officiating. Interment at the Serenity Room at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date. If friends desire, donations in Annette's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Riverview Health Centre or the Winnipeg Humane Society. 586-8044
